Clyde HIAB was established seven years ago by its owner, John Melrose. With a family history of 70 years of trucking in Dunedin with a fleet of cranes (Fairfield Transport), John recognised the opportunity to expand his business into Central Otago, and thus, Clyde HIAB was born. In its early days, the company started with just one truck and a driver at the helm.
